Treasure Coast Urgent & Family Care FAQ’s

What is Treasure Urgent and Family Care? When should I go there instead of the ER?

Answer: We provide the highest quality medical care for all non-life threatening emergencies. Some of the many services we provide include treatment for cold or flu symptoms, high blood pressure, rashes, burns, cuts, female problems, UTIs, fractures, dislocations, strains or sprains and STD testing. Treatment at our urgent care center cost far less than an Emergency room and the wait time is significantly shorter.  If you have extreme shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, or severe chest pain, call 911.

What can I expect when I arrive at the facility?

Answer: You can expect to be greeted by one of our many friendly staff members upon arrival.  After checking in, our staff will assist you in completing necessary paperwork and review your insurance options.  They will also collect any co-payment or deductible prior to seeing a provider.  You will then have an opportunity to relax in our comfortable waiting room which offers both TV and magazines for your pleasure. It won’t be long before a staff member brings you to one of our state of the art examination rooms to meet with a provider.

Who will I be seeing for treatment?

Answer:  Dr. Libman is the only M.D. on the Treasure Coast that is Board Certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.  Her experience and training far exceed any other urgent care provider in the area. Her staff includes both male and female providers ranging from M.Ds to D.Os to Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician assistants.  She hires only doctors and mid-level providers with emergency room or prior urgent care experience and who meet her standards of medical quality.  Many urgent care facilities hire per diem E.R. doctors or mid-level providers who may not have the experience or caring nature.  We pride ourselves on hiring only those providers who exemplify what a medical provider should be; smart, caring, and not arrogant.  Please “Meet Our Providers” to learn the incredible expertise that they offer.

What can I expect after my treatment?

Answer: Our staff will call you within 72 hours to see how you are feeling and address any lab results that have arrived.  We can also send any notes or lab results to your family doctor or establish with one of our top providers in Treasure Coast Urgent & Family Care.
